G/Flex

G/Flex 655-K

A toughened, versatile epoxy ideal for bonding dissimilar materials.

With a modulus of elasticity of 150,000 PSI, it is more flexible than standard epoxies and polyesters, but much stiffer than adhesive sealants. This gives G/flex 655 the ability to make structural bonds that can absorb the stress of expansion, contraction, shock and vibration.

The Plastic Boat Repair Kit features plastic-friendly G/flex epoxy, and is assembled with the do-it-yourselfer in mind.  Each Plastic Boat Repair Kit contains 8.4 ounces of pre-thickened G/flex epoxy, protective gloves, mixing pallets and mixing sticks. Illustrated, detailed instructions explain how to repair splits and cracks in plastic boats, attach or repair reinforcement points on inflatable boats and repair pinhole leaks in inflatables.Mixed at a 1:1 ratio, G/flex 655 gives you 45 minutes of working time at  22°C. It reaches an initial cure in 7 to 10 hrs and full cure in 24 hrs. (8 fl. oz. / 250 mL)

655-K is prethickened for permanent waterproof bonding of plastic, fiberglass, ceramics, metals, damp and difficult-to-bond woods.
