403/413 Microfibre Blend 

WEST SYSTEM 403/413 is a blended general purpose glue-thickener with excellent resin extension and gap filling properties.  
Contains micro fibres to reduce crack propagation in the glue joint.
It has largely replaced pure Colloidal Silica and pure Microfibre as thickening agents for WEST SYSTEM liquid resins. 
Epoxy thickened with microfibers has good gap-filling qualities while retaining excellent wetting/penetrating capability.
403 is used as a thickening additive that builds volume quickly and blends easily to create a multipurpose adhesive for many composite structures including bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with 403 has good gap filling properties and cures to an off white colour.

404 High Density Filler 

West System 404 High-Density filler is a thickening additive developed for maximum physical properties in hardware bonding where high-cyclic loads are anticipated.  

Examples of uses for 404 are hardware bonding and high strength filleting and gap filling where maximum compression strength is necessary.

406 Colloidal Silica 

WEST SYSTEM 406 is a thickening additive used to control the viscosity of resins and prevent drainage. Controls the viscosity of the epoxy and prevents epoxy runoff in vertical and overhead joints. 406  helps create a smooth general bonding and filleting mixture without extending the resin volume.Can be used in combination with other filler powders to reduce resin drainage and enhance the filler strength.

 407/417 Microballoons

WEST SYSTEM 407/417 is a Low-Density, Phenolic Microballoon-based filler, that is easy to fair and sand.  When added to epoxy resin, 407 filler creates a thick, low density compound.  
407/417  is reasonably strong on a strength-to-weight basis. 

407/417  cures to a dark red/brown color; popular for matching wood.

407/417  is used to makes highly adaptive fairing putties for a range of applications.

Typical uses include filleting, coving and fairing.

The addition of a small percentage of WEST SYSTEM 406 assists in reducing resin drainage and improves spreading properties.

409 Glass Spheres

WEST SYSTEM 409 is a mixture of silicate microspheres.  The blend of silicate microspheres extends the filler and allow for easy sanding after curing.

Use WEST SYSTEM 409 for general purpose low density filling, fairing and coving. Other uses:Low density filling General low strength bonding Filleting Coving Fairing

410 Microlight

WEST SYSTEM 410 Microlight™ is the ideal low-density filler for creating a light, easily-worked fairing compound especially suited for fairing large areas. 

Microlight mixes with greater ease than 407 Low-Density filler and is approximately 30% easier to sand. 
It feathers to a fine edge and is also more economical for large fairing jobs. 

Not recommended under dark paint or other surfaces subject to high temperatures. 

Cures to a tan colour.

WEST 410 is used to make epoxy fairing putties that are easy to apply and subsequently fair.

Typical uses include filleting, coving and fairing.

411 Filleting Blend

WEST SYSTEM 411 is a mixture of silicate microspheres and colloidal silica and when mixed with epoxy resin is used for eneral purpose low density filling, fairing and coving. The colloidal silica in the mixture gives the mixture excellent resistance to sag by producing a thixotropic component to the mix. The blend of silicate microspheres extends the filler and allow for easy sanding after curing.  

411 is frequently used for:

 • Low density filling • General low strength bonding • Filleting • coving • Fairing compounds

Calcite

WEST SYSTEM Calcite is a powder extender which, when combined with WEST SYSTEM brand epoxy, forms a low cost extender to the resin.

WEST SYSTEM / Calcite is commonly used to reduce the cost of large castings which may require machining. In this application it has the particular advantage of lowering the exothermic temperature and increasing the pot life.

Graphite

Graphite Powder is a fine grey-black powder that can be mixed with WEST SYSTEM epoxy to produce a low-friction exterior coating with increased scuff resistance and durability. Add to mixed resin/hardener at the rate of up to 10% by volume.Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a bearing surface, and as a coating on rudders and centre-boards, or on the bottoms of racing craft that are dry sailed. It does not provide anti-fouling qualities. The epoxy/graphite mixture can also be used in teak deck construction to simulate the look of traditional seams and to protect the epoxy from sunlight.

Silica Flour

Silica Flour is a dense white powder that can be mixed with WEST SYSTEM epoxy to produce a hard wearing exterior coating or flooring with increased abrasion resistance and durability. 

Silica flour is commonly used for industrial flooring, exterior coatings, mortars and pastes.

Epoxy Pigment Paste

A highly filled pigment dispersion used to colour WEST Epoxy resin and for general coating and tinting applications.

Available in black and white.
